Ingredients:
- Binjal - ¼ kg
- Putana dal - ½ cup
- Jeera powder - 1 sp
- Daniya powder - 1 sp
- Red chilli powder - 1 sp
- Garlic flakes - 10 to 12
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil - 2 to 3 tbsps
- Cut brinjal from 2 sides (half-cut) as shown for stuffing.
- Blend all the above ingredients to powder; except binjal and cooking oil. (as shown)
- Stuff the putanan dal powder in to the brinjals as shown.
- In a pan, heat oil and place the brinjal pieces. (As shown)
- Close the lid and cook it on a low flame till the brinjals are cooked. If req. add 1 to 2 sps of oil.
- Great combination with dal rice/sambar rice.
